John Coulliette grew up in Florida and joined the United States Army at the age of 19. While serving in Germany, he and his girlfriend (whom he married in 1994) visited a Baptist church where they were presented with the Gospel. On May 1, 1994, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and was scripturally baptized. On February 11, 1995, he surrendered his life to the Lord and enrolled in Hyles-Anderson College in March 1996. At Pastors’ School in Hammond, Indiana, in 1998, he surrendered to preach the Gospel. He has served as an assistant pastor at Timberline Baptist Church since 2003.

His family is very important to him, and they enjoy spending time together. His wife, Ulrike, is his best friend. He enjoys hunting, watching and playing football and basketball, especially with his son, Sean. He and his daughter, Fiona, enjoy archery.
